Jeannette’s Farewell Lunch - U.S. Army Going Away Party in South Korea

I was honored to shoot this lovely military farewell luncheon on the gorgeous Evergreen patio as a close group of Area IV ladies said their formal "see-you-later’s" to one very special woman.

Military life is one that can make friendships hard but I have also found, and have seen at this event that the nature of military lives means that relationships grow much deeper, and faster, than those outside of the military usually do. This is even more important while being a world away from everything and everyone that we know.

While I don't know Jeannette personally, I do know that these ladies have only known her for two years, but being there today, you would have thought it had been twenty. The stories they shared showed not only how amazing relationships in the military can be, but how genuine and caring Jeannette herself is to have a patio full of people who adore her!

From a custom cocktail to singing to a choreographed dance number and a hula, it was such a perfect, dreamy day!!
