Kaylynn Senior Portraits - Military Family Photographer

Jasper and I were lucky enough to fly back to the US in November for Thanksgiving, my birthday (December 3rd! 😁), we also were able to go a friend’s wedding, be at my sister-in-law’s baby shower for her first baby and see my sister’s new house in Florida that she moved into from North Carolina. We also squeezed in a Jimmy Buffett concert and even got to photograph Jasper’s cousin’s senior photos while we were in Florida for a week! Did I mention we were only there for 3 weeks and 5 days? 😁

Another reason we decided to pull the trigger to visit was so we could bring Darly to stay with my mom for the next few months, so that when we PCS from South Korea this May, we don’t have to travel with two dogs and a cat all at once! The likelihood of securing 3 pet spots on the same flight sounds almost impossible anyway!

Luckily, Darly didn’t have any real adjustment period when we got to the US! She was ready to meet our family, as soon as we got her out of the crate at the airport in Atlanta! She even laid nicely by our table (in the restaurant!) while we all ate breakfast together!

It was a crazy but amazing trip, being away from everyone we knew for a year and a half definitely made us ready to see them all again! And I actually enjoyed the flight to the US and back!

Jasper’s cousin, Kaylynn, lives in Florida and graduates this spring! Our Aunt Tonya messaged me a whole month before anyone really knew we were planning a trip to the US, to see if we were going to be back any time soon, so we could see them, and shoot Kaylynn’s graduation photos! It’s like she was psychic because we really had no intentions of a visit until a few weeks before she messaged me! Not only that but, most of our family lives in North Carolina, however, my sister had just moved to Florida, so I told her we all could totally meet up while we are visiting her! The stars aligned!

Jasper came too, of course, it was so great to see all of them, and we found the most perfect little beachy park to take her photos at!

Here are some of my favorites from Kaylynn’s senior session!

Kaylynn also brought her new puppy, Rudy, to join her in some photos!! He was just the sweetest little guy!

I think one of the next set could totally be the cover for a small-beach-town-story book, with Kaylynn as the main character!

Thank you for spending time with us Tonya, Nathan, Kaylynn, and Rudy! We love you guys!! :)
